MAT RS485 Module

It supports for the latest MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 contactless technologies with new data security mechanisms: “Secure Messaging” to secure the transaction and “Proximity Check” to protect against relay attacks.
Ultimate Self-Protection
The patented tamper protection system protects sensitive data and gives the possibility to delete the authentication keys. Unlike the current solutions on the market, the reliability of the accelerometer based technology avoids it being outsmarted.
Interoperable and Flexible
The module’s RS485 interface addresses two essential needs: seamless integration into transparent architectures recommended by governmental agencies (such as ANSSI or FIPS) and robust support for OSDP™ deployments.
For transparent architectures, the MAT utilizes SSCP® v1 and v2 protocols to enable secure end-to-end communication with AES encryption and mutual authentication. It securely offloads key storage and cryptographic operations to a protected zone. Additionally, compatibility with EasyRemote and RemoteSecure interfaces facilitates effortless integration into diverse system configurations, enhancing flexibility and scalability.
