1. Open SECard and create a new configuration
- Start SECard on your computer.
- Go to the ‘Configuration’ tab.
- Select ‘Create a new configuration’ to start configuring the badge.
2. Configuring the reader
- Choose the type of reader to be configured (e.g. ARC, ARCS).
- Define the required parameters:
- Security keys (encryption keys for authentication).
- Communication protocol (Wiegand, OSDP, TTL).
- Identification modes (badge only, mobile ID, PIN, etc.).
- If required, set encryption options such as DESFire keys.
3. Badge encoding
- Insert the configuration badge (physical smart card or NFC mobile badge).
- Click on ‘Encode configuration badge’ in SECard.
- SECard will write the selected configuration to the badge.
